About Tire.Watch

Tire.Watch is a free, no-sign-up tool that tells you how old a tire is from the four-digit DOT date code stamped on its sidewall. We built it because tire age is one of the most overlooked safety factors on a vehicle — a tire can look new yet be dangerously old.

What it does

A note on accuracy

Tire.Watch is an informational aid. It reports the age based on the code you enter, but it cannot inspect the physical condition of a tire. Always have tires checked by a qualified professional and follow your vehicle and tire manufacturer guidance.
